Transition to Fall Outfit

My husband requested a trip to Bass Pro Shops this past weekend and the girls just love seeing the boats and the fish tank. It's about 30 minutes away from where we live. I asked if we could stop at Target and TJ Maxx while we were there because we don't have a Target in our small town.
I love shopping at other TJ Maxx stores because sometimes you find better deals or more of a selection! We found some cute fall clothes for the girls and I found this cute short sleeve sweater that is Jessica Simpson brand. It will be a perfect transition to fall piece when we go back to school. Also, who doesn't love an all neutral colored outfit. It's so classy and will never go out of style!
•Top is Jessica Simpson from TJ Maxx just this weekend, so your store might have it! Similar cute one here from Old Navy on sale for $17.97
•Jeans are from Zara and I got them for $19.99, but they are sold out. Here is a similar pair for $49.90.
Pearl slides are from Talulah for $28.

Someone I saw on Instagram said, don't sleep on Zara jeans because they are that good. Well, I ordered my first pair of jeans and a pair of shorts and it's so true!! They are a true firm denim that sucks in your Mama belly. They make you feel amazing!! I will say they run sales a lot, so wait for them to go on sale! They are definitely worth the price though!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and with this heat we are all dreaming of some fall weather, so I hope this outfit has you thinking of fall and cooler temperatures! 🍁🍂

Meet The Teacher Outfit

When it comes to Meet the Teacher Night, you want to be comfortable, but cute. This is their first impression of you, so I always want to look like a super fun and kind teacher. I was just talking about this with some of my friends who aren't teachers, but I told them afterwards I am ALWAYS overanalyzing every conversation I had that evening. I ask myself so many questions like "Did I say the right thing?" "Was I awkward?" "Do you think they like me?"

Is any other teacher the same way???

It's usually pretty hot during this school event, so I make sure to dress cool as well. Thankfully we do have air conditioning, but with all of the people in the school it gets very warm! 🥵

I actually love this Amazon dress SO much I bought it in another color on Prime Day!
Amazon Dress for $44.99 with a 5% coupon too!
•Star Sneakers from Talulah but here are similar ones that I also have for $39.95

I hope you all have a wonderful Meet the Teacher Night whenever that is and stay cool and comfortable! Our Meet the Teacher night is August 17th, so it's right around the corner. I also hope you feel confident enough that you don't need to overanalyze any conversation you had! 🩷

Barbie Pink Outfit for the Classroom

I'm BACK!!!! I have missed blogging SO much that my super supportive husband motivated me to start again. Thanks to him, I am back and I'm so excited to start the next chapter of blogging as a busy Mama of three little girls! I may even share some of their outfits on here as well. My oldest, Sophia will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall and my middle daughter, Scarlett will be going to preschool. Of course they already have their first day of school outfits picked out because we get a little excited about school around here!

I know it's still summer, but I'm always thinking about outfits I can wear in the classroom. Because the Barbie movie came out this week, I'm sharing a Barbie pink outfit that you can wear in the classroom and you could wear it to the Barbie movie as well! Bridal Showers

My mom and matron of honor threw the most beautiful bridal shower for me at the end of April. My idea for my bridal shower was to have the gifts be holiday themed. Each person received a holiday and they would get holiday home decor or things you would use for that holiday. It turned out to be amazing and I'm totally prepared for every holiday now! I love celebrating and decorating for the holidays, but it's just not something I would spend money on or buy when we need something more important. I'm a little frugal in that way.

The invitation and she even made "Thank You's" for me to use:

The holiday insert:

Most importantly, here is my outfit:

Top: Pink lace top from Forever 21, but I got it off Poshmark for $10.
Skirt: White Tulle Skirt from Space 46 for $74.
Shoes: Black and White Striped ANA pumps from JC Penny, but I got them off Poshmark for $22.
Necklace: Crystal Clusters from Purple Peridot for $29.99.

They had all of my students draw me in a wedding dress.Ha! I got a kick out of these! My face was copied onto the paper, they just drew the dress. I had quite the creative bunch of first graders this year.

Our final shower, was a couples cocktail party hosted by Colin's wonderful aunts. They are too sweet! Everyone got us a date night gift. We got everything from gift cards to restaurants, picnic and camp fire date nights, and even a dinner cruise date night. It was a lovely evening spent with friends and family.

My mom and soon to be Mother in law! Love them!
