Happy March!

February flew by! I can't believe it's March already!!! My birthday month!!! This weekend I went to hobby lobby and bought some fun decorations for my classroom for St. Patrick's Day. I can't wait for the students to see them. They always get excited when it looks different in the classroom.

Polka Dot Button Down from Tommy Hilfiger similar to this for $13.90.
Deep Green Crew neck sweater from Forever 21 for $8.90.
Necklace from Gabe's similar to this for $22.
Black pants from TJ Maxx similar to these for $14.90.
Black boots from JustFab similar to these for $20.

A few weeks ago at school with did a fun Presidents Day craft book!

My first graders loved making all of these crafts and learning all about each one! :)

  2. My first graders love it when little decorations are up too! We have a delay this morning and I'm going to use the extra time to put up my St. Patrick's Day decorations!

  4. I saw the same American symbols book and thought about getting it, but it looks like it would take a long time-something we don't have at school. February was full of snow/cold days and we are behind. How long did it take them to do each craft? I get excited about the decorations, but my kindergartners don't seem to notice them until I point them out.

  5. I love your layering! I also enjoyed the craft book, what a great way to introduce those important figures.
