I have always loved all things nautical. Most of my nautical things are red, white, or blue. When I saw PINK nautical clothing, I had to have it! This past weekend, my dad was in town at my grandpa's lake house which is in Northern Michigan. It's about a 6-7 hour drive. I was excited to go with my brother for the weekend to see him, but I got really overwhelmed with school stuff that has to be done throughout this week. I have a substitute teacher coming Wednesday. I have a Year 2 Resident Educator meeting that I need to have things done for. I have to finish all of my SLO's by Friday. I have had two new students, so I need to finish testing them to include them in my SLO's. I'm just very overwhelmed and I knew that would happen being a first year classroom teacher.
This weekend, I spent a lot of time in my classroom. I got a lot done too! I feel much better!
Here is my new favorite nautical clothing that I have in my closet!
Sailboat Dress from Red Dress Boutique similar to this
Silver Sandals from Guess Outlet similar to these
Pink and White Striped Oxford from Tommy Hilfiger Outlet similar to this
Lilly Pulitzer Scalloped Sailboat Skirt from an Instagram Closet similar to this
White Woven Flats from TJ Maxx similar to these
Have a great week everyone! Hopefully you aren't as stressed and overwhelmed as I am. :)
Thanks for sharing those outfits. If only we could wear dresses longer. I am also an Ohio teacher. Where are you located? It would be so cool to meet in real life sometime!ReplyDelete
These are so cute, and the scalloped on that skirt? Perfection!ReplyDelete
so cute!!! I love that dress!!ReplyDelete
Things are so much harder for classroom teachers than when I first started teaching. I've been out of the classroom for the last 10 years and now that I am back to being a full-time kindergarten teacher, I know exactly how you feel. Your outfits are really cute, especially the dress! How do you dress comfortably for school? I am on my feet all day long and I need comfortable shoes! :)ReplyDelete
