Sherpa Shacket

This is another neutral outfit that is cozy for these cold winter days! We had a short week with all of the snow and cold days last week. This week looks like rain and warmer temperatures. It's also my daughter's 4th birthday this week! 

We spent today cleaning up the house and baking cupcakes to share with her preschool classmates for her birthday. They are bright pink of course! She requested a pink cheerleader themed party this year. We usually just have family over for dinner, cake and presents. It's always very special for them!

My almost four year old has been counting down the months and days until her birthday. She has been so excited. I told her she's not allowed to keep growing up!!! Time needs to slow down!! Do you ever feel that way?

Our grade cards went home on Friday, so we are officially halfway through our school year. I can't believe how fast it went. Our 100th day is coming up next week! I always enjoy celebrating that milestone with my first graders! I can't wait!

Classic Denim Shirt

We started off the week with some extremely cold weather that caused our school to close. My daughter had a school delay today, but my school closed. We have a large population of students that walk and these temperatures are dangerous. I went to get gas this morning and my face was in pain just standing there because it was so cold! What is the weather like where you live?

This outfit I wore last week and it's just a classic outfit that everyone can probably recreate with something in their closet. If you don't have leggings and a denim/chambray shirt, you need them. They are a closet staple for sure!

My oldest had her team pictures for cheerleading last night. I almost cried because I could just tell she has found the thing she absolutely LOVES. She was in her element! After her practice was over, she thanked me for signing her up for real cheerleading. She said "mom this is the cheerleading I've always wanted to learn and it's SO amazing." It just made my Mama heart happy to see her so happy. I was never a cheerleader growing up, so this stuff is all new to me. Her first game is this weekend and I can't wait to watch her!

Do you remember the moment your child found their "thing" that they love doing? I'm just a proud Mama! 

My middle daughter is turning 4 next week and I'm on planning mode for that. She is the girliest girl! I can't wait to celebrate her and I can't even believe she is already 4!!!

Bows Bows Bows!

I got this 10-pack of velvet bows from Amazon and I wear them all of the time! The colors go with everything! I love them! I'm in my bow era for sure!! I have only worn them with my hair half up and haven't tried it with a ponytail yet. My ponytail is super thick and not very long, so maybe if my hair grows a little longer it will be cute. I went on a fun little girls trip with some of my friends this weekend. The weather kept looking bad and we almost cancelled. I'm so glad it held off and we could go. We did a little shopping, a lot of eating, and tons of laughing.
