Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser

This past Saturday one of the teachers I work with had a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis in a nearby town at a cute little restaurant. They had raffles, door prizes, auctioned off prizes, and lots of yummy food! It was extremely successful! Her daughter has Cystic Fibrosis, so they had thank you cards on each table with her footprint or hand print on it. It was so cute! You could tell that her and her husband were so truly thankful for everyone's support and donations. They also have a website where you can donate money. They are amazing!!
I loved seeing my coworkers there supporting them with me! We had tons of fun!

What I wore:
Polka Dot Button Down from Tommy Hilfiger Outlet similar to this for $15.80.
Purple Sweater from Old Navy for $14.97.
J. Crew Herringbone Vest from Poshmark!
Skinny Jeans from Goodwill similar to these for $7.80.
Turquoise Loafers from Charlotte Russe for $25.50.

I love my coworkers!!!

We have an extra long school week for the next three weeks. They are adding an extra hour to our school days to make up our snow days. I will be one sleepy teacher. Ha!

  2. Cute outfit! So nice of everyone to do such a great thing. We got lucky; our school district needs to make up just one day, and we'll do that the day after Easter which was originally a day off for us. We used Blizzard Bags to make up the other 3 days. Our district doesn't do the extended school day because it affects sports activities after school.

  3. What a nice event. Bummer about the long days! We lost almost all of our Easter break to make up for the snow days (on top of already not having a Spring Break, I'm going a little crazy over here!)
