Last Wedding in 2013!

Yesterday, was a beautiful day for one of my best friends' wedding. It was my last wedding for the year 2013 and it was an absolute blast!! Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner was Thursday evening after work. We had Greek food and it was delicious. Then, we went back to the bride's parent's house to stay the night with the bride and all nine bridesmaids. Here is what I wore to rehearsal.

The bride has been a dedicated runner all her life and has ran in many races. These were our gifts from her. Love them!

Yesterday we woke up to a huge breakfast cooked by the bride's father. YUM! We headed to our hair appointments and rode in a limo to the venue. Then, the bride became a wife. We danced all night long and had a lantern send off. It was so much fun!!

Crazy Hat Day!

I just got home from school a few minutes ago because we had parent teacher conferences. This picture is awful quality, but it was too dark outside. It's been a long day of teaching, my after school program, and conferences. They provided dinner for us, which was a ton of soups, salads, breads, and desserts. I ate WAY too much because it was all so good!

Because parent teacher conferences were tonight my crazy hat had to be a bit professional. No matter what I would have hat hair. Boo. There were a bunch of fun hats today. I saw a lot of "Goofy" hats, hats that light up, etc. One girl had a hat with a bunch of balloons all over it! It was so cool!

Of course Bear had to be in the picture too! I was so happy to come home and see his face after such a long day!

Super Hero Day!!

This is totally not a blog worthy outfit what so ever, but many of you wanted to see my spirit week outfits. Haha! Today was "Super Hero Day" and I saw some fantastic super hero outfits. I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of military uniforms and they are our true super hero's!! Also, I saw a lot of breast cancer awareness shirts because anyone who has fought is a true super hero as well. Of course I saw Superman, Batman, Cat Woman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, etc. too. Here is my homemade Super Hero Outfit from Hobby Lobby! I was called "Super Miss D" and "Zebra Woman" all day!

Today was "Crazy Sock Day!" My students know I love anything pink and zebra because my classroom is full of it! haha! I saw some pretty crazy socks today and some people even pinned a bunch of socks all over their clothes. It was so great!

Fall Favorites/Crazy Hair Day

Two of my fall favorites include leopard flats and a puffy vest!!! That's exactly what I wore on this foggy fall day. Leopard flats match everything and go with everything. Anything that has brown and black will look great with anything! I have always wanted a puffer vest and I spotted this one on Ebay for a great deal, so I had to have it. Today was "Crazy Hair Day" for spirit week and I was dying laughing at some of the things I saw from the students. One girl made her hair into a bun to look like a birds nest and had sticks in it and a bird pinned to it. It was awesome! There was a lot of different wigs and hair paint. Another one I loved was this girl's hair was all pink and she has pink sparkly pipe cleaners sticking out all over her head. It almost poked my eye during computer class. Ha!! Anything pink with sparkles, I love! I went for a cute look, but something I would never wear on a normal day. People said I looked like "Minny Mouse" or "Pebbles". It was fun!

I LOVE this Maxi Skirt!

I know I just wore this skirt the other day, but I just had to wear it again. I love it so much and the color is awesome! I got so many compliments on my outfit today and my hair because I got it trimmed and my gray hairs colored yesterday! I felt like a new woman. My hair stylist is AMAZING! Every single student noticed my hair. It was so funny!! "Miss D did you dye your hair black?", "Miss D your hair looks different!", or my favorite "Your hair looks purple and red in the light!". Kids notice EVERYTHING!

Next week is our homecoming/spirit week! We get to dress up in crazy stuff! I love it! I'm not sure if I will post my outfits next week or not. Ha! You probably don't want to see my "dress like a super hero" outfit etc. Haha!!

Blue & Gold

Today, was the first day that actually felt like Fall! Last week I was dying hot at school and today I had a heater pulled up next to my desk. Haha!! It's supposed to get hot again at the end of the week. Seriously Ohio make up your mind!!!

Our school colors are blue and gold and I told you I love showing my school spirit by not only wearing a school t-shirt. This outfit was perfect for today's chilly weather. This is what I wore today to show my school colors.
