Happy Veterans Day!!!

Today, is Veterans Day and I'm so thankful for those who have served and are still serving our country today. At my school we have a pretty big Veterans Day program where many veterans from all over come and we decorate our school from top to bottom for them. We have the band play songs for the veterans. Our students sing songs and give speeches for them. We cook and serve them lunch. It's a busy busy day! I made pasta salad and I got the recipe from A Small Pickle blog and I made cranberry bliss bars and I found the recipe on Pinterest. One song that our students are singing is "I'm Proud to be an American" and it brings a tear to my eye every time.

Red Braided Bib necklace from Amazon for $9.99
Royal Blue Sweater Dress from Poshmark and it's Old Navy similar to this for $34.99.
Taupe Boots from Amazon similar to these for $26.99.

This is my door and outside my classroom. I had my students make soldiers. I love how different each of them are.

Have a great day and make sure you thank a soldier today and wear red, white, and blue because we are proud to be Americans!!!!
