Lake Visit/ 2 Week Teaching Job!!

Sunday, we went to the lake to visit Nan! It was a relaxing day and nice to get away for the day. Do you ever feel like you need to get away for a day, just drive and go somewhere out of town? It was cloudy and muddy here and as we got farther away it was getting so sunny!! It was beautiful and even though it was sunny, the lake had snow on the ground and the lake was still all the way iced over. Here is my comfy, driving, relaxing outfit for the day away.

Basic Navy Shirt from TJ Maxx (NOW) similar to this for $10.50!
Thick Cardigan Sweater from Forever 21 (this year) similar to this for for $35 or this for $24.80.
Skinny Jeans from Forever 21 (last year) similar to these for $22.80.
Minnetonka Fringe Boots (last year, but you can get them now too!) for $94.95 and free shipping.
Almost identical to these for $29.99!!!

We saw people ice fishing on the lake with their little tents!!

Bear LOVES car rides! He sleeps the whole time! I wish it was that easy for me to sleep in the car! Haha!

Last week I was asked, by the principal (That's kind of a big deal I think. Ha!), to sub for two weeks in a first grade classroom. Today was my first day of the two weeks and the class is so sweet and the teachers are extremely nice! It will be a wonderful two weeks, I can already tell!!! It's so great being in the same classroom and same school for more than just one day!! How is everyone else's week starting off? Hopefully great!!!

  5. Fantastic! Anytime a principal personally asks you for such, it's a good sign. Yayy! You must be making quite the impression. Random story.. when I was student teaching I knew I had a good connection with the principal and I hoped to get into that district. I was eventually hired by a neighboring school district and after my 3rd year our principal left. Well then the principal from my student teaching was hired as our new principal at my current school! Woo! My good connection during student teaching paid off!

BTW- I can also relate to getting away. We are planning an Akron visit in two weeks, just to break up the monotony of our everyday life. :)
