Walking in a Tulle Wonderland

Today, Miss Renaaye and I are flaunting our absolute favorite holiday look, TULLE SKIRTS! We knew we wanted to do tulle skirts and we both LOVE Christmas, so we had to make it a holiday outfit. We found our fabulous skirts on Amazon for only $12.62 and it comes in six different colors!!!! I got it in white and Renee got it in black. I absolutely love how classy and beautiful they look. Printed Leggings!

We had so much snow this weekend, that we had a 2-hour delay this morning. I enjoyed sleeping in an extra two hours. I have been exhausted lately and I think I'm catching a cold. I need to make it go away before Christmas gets here!!!

Last week, we got new carpet in our entire upstairs. Moving furniture in and out of rooms all week, made me to be sore and tired. Thank goodness Wally came to help us a lot. One night, I had to sleep in my brother's room and I couldn't even get to my clothes. I came to school feeling like a plain Jane that day. It was all worth it though, because the new carpet is gorgeous.

Over the weekend, I got all of my Christmas shopping finished!! We were snowed in on Saturday, so my mom and I went out Sunday. I feel very good knowing I have all of my shopping done. Anyone else finished Christmas shopping??

My cozy outfit of the day!

I have a very busy week ahead! Lots of fun holiday plans and work meetings. Last Friday, we had Winter Fest at our school and it was a blast! I got to sit on Santa's lap and get a picture with him. I helped lead an Elf Scavenger Hunt game. Also, they had a huge raffle for different themed baskets. All of the girl students were going crazy over the American Girl Doll basket and One Direction basket. The boys were crazy about the Duck Dynasty basket and the Legos Basket. All of these were donated to our school. We have so many generous parents and families in our school community.

Holiday Houndstooth

Today, our students had a scheduled 2-hour delay. The teachers had a meeting and training. I was a little jealous of our students haha. This year the staff is required to take a two hour youth suicide prevention course. It was a pretty depressing way to start off the day, but I would do anything to prevent that from ever happening to our kids.

Do all teachers carry huge purses and bags everywhere you go? I feel like I'm always carrying the biggest bags with everything in them, but it's still very organized. I can't stand when I can't find that one thing I need when I'm digging through my bags. Ha. It still happens, even when it's organized. When I was trying on clothes the other day, I noticed my shoulder was red and then I realized it was my huge purse. Ha. Does this happen to anyone else?

Last night we put our tree up and decorated our house! We are officially ready for the holidays!

Pearl and Rhinestone necklace from Forever 21 similar to this for $10.80.
Black Turtle Neck Sweater from Forever 21 similar to this for $14.99.
Red and Black Long Sleeve Houndstooth Dress from SheInside similar to this for $32.79.
Black Tights from Target for $4.75.
Black and Bling Flats from TJ Maxx similar to these for $27.99.

Here are some of my classroom decorations!! I love Christmas!

Yes, I have zebra Christmas ornaments to match the classroom!
Have a classy day everyone!!

Happy December!!!

This is my most favorite month of the whole year. I look forward to it all year long!! Christmas is my all time favorite holiday. I just love everything about it and I love the comfort and happiness it brings. The traditions are so memorable and new traditions are fun too. Last year we started the tradition of doing a Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt on Christmas Eve after church! It was so much fun, we are doing it again this year. New traditions we are starting this year is a Secret Santa gift exchange in our family. I'm excited! Also, we are doing an Ugly Sweater Christmas with my family and all of my relatives. I'm anxious to see what everyone wears. Ha!
