Another Bridal Shower and a New Blogger!

Thank you all so much for your good thoughts with my interviews I had the past few weeks. I should hear something this week, but I will let you all know. Speaking of jobs Wally just got an amazing job offer today and I am so proud of him! He is almost done with his last two classes of his masters degree and then he will be starting his big boy job. We both were screaming over the phone when he told me. Ha.

Well, this past weekend Wally and I went and saw "Grown Ups 2" which was hilarious and I had another bridal shower for one of my best friends. It was great to see all of the girls. This is what I wore:

One of my very best friends was missing that day because she lives too far, but I'm totally including her in this post because she started a blog!!!!!! Everyone needs to check out Whitney at A Small Pickle! She is a beautiful newlywed and I'm sure when you see her blog you will remember her from the photos I posted of her wedding on here. She is also a registered dietitian and makes some really amazing and healthy meals with the recipes. I love her and her blog.

Back from Texas to a VERY Busy Week!!

I had an amazing short visit to Texas last week!! It was so great seeing my dad, step-mom, and my brothers. We spent every day on the boat and that caused me to have an awesome tan. Ha. I miss them already.

The day before I left for Texas I received a call from a principal from a school I subbed at a lot this year. He asked if I would come in for an interview, so I had very little time to prepare but I was extremely excited. Good thing I already had a few interview outfit choices in mind. Weekend Fun!

This weekend one of my great friends who moved away in the 7th grade, came back to visit. We went to Rally In The Alley, which is a local event where they have a band playing outside in an alley off Main Street, adult beverages, and it's free to get in. It was a beautiful night for it. We had so much fun!! Then, I spent the rest of the weekend at the lake of course! I hope everyone else had a great weekend!

This week I am only nannying my girls for 2 days and then I am off to Texas to see my Dad and my brothers for the rest of the week/weekend!!! I'm so excited to see my Texas family, but I know it's going to be sooooo hot. Haha! :)

Crazy Summer Hair!

This week has been awful on my hair! I naturally have thick and frizzy hair, so when its really humid out and raining a lot my hair goes wild. It's not even worth it to try and make it look nice. Also, I have been swimming with the girls I nanny, a lot. They have a pond and a pool membership and it's too hot not to swim anyways. This picture was taken after a humid day of swimming and you can tell from the way my hair looks. Ha. What is your hot and humid hairstyle?

Neon Nanny!

I have had such a fun summer being a nanny! They actually call me Nanny too which is too cute for words. I play so much with the two girls and they wear me out! Yesterday, it was extremely hot and humid, but that didn't stop our fun. We did crafts in the morning, went to the park, and swam in the pond. I'm getting so attached to these girls. It will be hard when the summer ends. I went to Walmart last night and bought them a fun turtle blow-up raft to play with in the pond. I hope they love it! Being a nanny and playing with little kids all day in this heat, I find myself wearing very light and comfortable clothing.

I just got this fabulous neon statement necklace and I'm obsessed with it. I base outfits around it. Ha. Do you ever base your outfits on an accessory like a necklace, a pair of shoes, earrings, or a fun bag?? I find myself doing this a lot.

*4th of July Outfits*

America's Birthday is this week! It's one of my all time favorite holidays (besides Christmas). I absolutely love being patriotic and I have WAY too many red white and blue clothes because I love all things nautical! Tomorrow is my Friday for nannying because of the holiday week and then I will be heading to the lake for the rest of the week/weekend. Today, the girls I nanny and I went and saw Monsters University 3D. It was a pretty good movie and I think the girls really enjoyed it. It's been rainy all week, so I had to get them out of the house to do something fun because we had already done crafts, played hair salon, did some bowling, and had a dance party in our PJ's. I think tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny and will hopefully be staying that way for awhile! I can't wait to get to the lake and watch some fireworks and celebrate this wonderful holiday! I have some great choices and ideas for 4th of July outfits!
