Patterns On Patterns!

This our last summer trend, which is mixing patterns. It is extremely hard for me to mix patterns and come up with something I love, but I recently went to Kohls and paired these two pieces together and instantly fell in love with the outfit. Especially since they both were 50% off. How can you go wrong with that deal??

Clearly I missed the coral and white stripe memo, but I do love being an individual. "I Do BBQ" Weekend!

I told you the wedding festivities never end! Haha. This past weekend we headed to an Indiana lake to celebrate one of my very best friends. It was called an "I Do BBQ" with all of the bridal party and their dates and the Bride and Groom to be. We spent the day on the lake, had a cook out, got them "Date Inspired gifts", and went to one of their favorite lake bars. It was a blast.

The Date Inspired Gift I got for them! My mom made the adorable picnic blanket and matching napkins. I got crafty with the mason jars. I was a little jealous of their gift. :)

Lace and Elegance!

Summer Bridal Shower

I have been super busy this summer, which is crazy because teachers don't teach in the summer! My summer job is nannying two fabulous girls one is 5 and the other is 8. They are so fun and love doing crafts and going to the pool. I only nanny them Monday through Thursday, so I get three day weekends, which is AWESOME! I have spent a lot of time at the lake and I have had a Wedding related event almost every weekend this summer so far. It's only just begun! I was off to another bridal shower of one of my very close friends today. I can't wait for her wedding in August! She is going to be a beautiful bride. Also, recently we found out Bear has a floating kneecap (something where your knee pops out of place a lot and easily). The only way to fix this is surgery that takes about six weeks to recover from. He is only three so they said he will recover strong because he is so young. He had the surgery yesterday and we got to bring him home today. He is hopping on three legs, but doing great so far. He can't walk on it for a week, so this will be a challenge. I just feel so bad for him right now, but he will be so happy once it's healed. Bear is one spoiled boy and he will be for awhile.

My Best Friend's Wedding!

This past weekend, I was the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding! There were many happy tears shed on the wedding day. I did an ugly cry down the isle (embarrassing yes) and people came up to me later saying I made them start to cry. Haha! But...I didn't cry during my speech! I was so proud of myself and I got a lot of compliments on how well I did on my speech and how much they loved it. I also put together a scrapbook of love letters from all of the bridesmaids and they had pictures to go with them. Each bridesmaid made a scrapbook page. The very last page was a letter and pictures from her dad. Angie was so surprised when I gave it to her while getting ready. It was such a beautiful day. I was so blessed to share that special day with the both of them.

It was such a fun weekend and a beautiful wedding! I was so blessed to be standing next to my best friend on the most important day of her life!
